Projects
Manas is the largest and most active gold explorer in the Kyrgyz Republic, with a strong focus on the highly prospective south-west. We have nine projects covering 4,408km² with our focus being on the 4,200km² semi-contiguous seven-project South Kyrgyz Gold Project.
Our current JORC Resource base is 875,000 ounces and with 54 ranked prospects, we are aiming to grow rapidly to 2 million ounces and beyond.
Every drill program so far has discovered significant gold mineralisation. Our Shambesai Project has returned spectacular results including 21m at 12.6 g/t gold, 21.8m at 4.92g/t gold and 23m at 4.09g/t gold. In December 2009 we completed 15,000m of drilling, with results expected to substantially increase the size our current 390,000-ounce resource.

Our projects have attractive characteristics justifying ongoing exploration;
• The projects lie within the Tien Shan, one of the world’s largest gold provinces;
• Scoping studies for Shambesai and Obdilla have commenced;
• There are a number of drill-ready targets located throughout our 54 prospect areas;
• Carlin-style gold mineralisation is the main exploration target in the south-western Kyrgyz tenement package; and
• Manas has an experienced and successful board and management team.
