Karabulak
The 818 km2 Karabulak exploration license is located 200 km west-southwest of Osh and 10 km from the regional centre Batken.
Most exploration work on the Karabulak license has focused on the Nurlau prospect where soil sampling has defined a >100ppb gold anomaly over a strike length of 2.5 km and width of 500 m. Trench results show gold grades in felsic-porphyry dykes returning up to 55 m at 0.33 g/t Au and thinner higher grades of up to 8m at 1.11 g/t Au.
The Karabulak license also contains the same stratigraphic trend as Shambesai and Obdilla, as well as proximal historic mercury mines.
Altyn Jilga gold deposit is 10 km along trend outside Karabulak license and has a current resource of 942,000 Oz Au (not-JORC reported).
As of the beginning of the 2013 drilling season 60% of the prospective contact on Karabulak remains unexplored.
