Isfairamsai

The 387-square kilometre Isfairamsai licence lies immediately south of Tolubay and hosts the substantial high-grade gold discovery of Shambesai.

The Shambesai Prospect is high-grade analogue to the Obdilla-Chauvai zone and is located only 8km south of Obdilla.

Shambesai was discovered through the investigation of high tenor stream sediment gold anomalies which were systematically soil sampled and trenched defining a very strong gold soil anomaly averaging 2,200ppb (2.2g/t) gold over a 1km long strike length, with the core averaging 4,500ppb (4.5g/t) gold over a 700m strike length.

The anomaly appears significantly stronger than the Obdilla soil anomaly, which averaged less than 1,000ppb (1.0g/t) gold.

Shambesai Prospect

The Shambesai Prospect is a high-grade gold discovery.

Initial high-grade results from the Shambesai Prospect are encouraging and the limits of the mineralised system are yet to be defined. Manas has drilled 40 holes over a 1km strike length.

The best high-grade results include 35m @ 4.85g/t gold from 57m; 34m @ 4.09g/t gold from 28m; and 14.6m @ 5.15g/t gold from 33m.

Three diamond drill rigs are currently operating at western extensions of mineralised jasperiod horizon with a resource statement due out in first quarter of 2009.

Shambesai appears to be part of an extensive east-west trending target zone along a Tolubai–Pyrkaf thrust contact, analogous to that seen in the Obdilla–Chauvai Valley area and further exploration is likely to uncover additional mineralised systems.
