Manas Resources Limited (ASX – MSR) is an Australian based company exploring for gold on nine projects covering over 4,800km² of prospective ground in the central Asian nation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In July 2008 Manas raised $6 million through an IPO and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.

Manas’s strategy and corporate objectives are;
1. Explore and develop its nine projects in the Kyrgyz Republic; and
2. Assess near-term production opportunities throughout Central Asia.
The Company has a resource base of just under 500,000 ounces at the Obdilla prospect. Manas has three diamond drill rigs operating on the high grade Shambesai prospect, located 8km south of Obdilla.
