The Djilginsai license covers an area of 85km2, approximately 30km northeast of the Tolubay license. Stream sediment and soil sampling undertaken by Perseus Mining Limited at several Soviet era prospects identified the two principal prospects of Ulugtau and Kurbanbulak.
Manas has completed seventeen diamond drill holes at Ulugtau, returning results of 10.8m at 13.2g/t gold from 29.2m and 12m at 1.6g/t gold from 14m.
Kurbanbulak gold anomaly was drilled by Manas in 2007. Of the three holes drilled two positive intersects were returned of 6.5m at 2.05 g/t Au and 5m at 0.98 g/t Au, both from surface. A subsequent trenching program returned further positive results and these will be followed up with a drill program in 2013.
As of the beginning of the 2013 drilling season 70% of the prospective contact on Djilginsai remains unexplored.
